As of winter 2023/24, six surgeon project leaders are the main Bangladeshi partners of Cleft Bangladesh. To guarantee sustainability of the Cleft Bangladesh project, we are currently training a young surgeon from Bangladesh to join the Cleft Bangladesh team. A second already completed this program in 2023 and is now working as a Cleft Bangladesh surgeon. Our trainees receive hands on training under our highly experienced currently active cleft surgeons.
We hope to be able to take in another trainee soon, which will be announced, among other places, here and on Linkedin.
